
Technical IT Support Specialist

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role will be part of the Management Team and will work closely with leadership to attain company goals.

Other key responsibilities include:
- Plan proactively to ensure zero downtime in operations.
- Provide excellent customer service for IT and management requests.
- Continuously improve IT knowledge through training and development.
- Contribute ideas and solutions to the IT knowledge base.
- Build strong relationships with management, clients, and team members.
- Maintain hardware, software, and network systems.
- Manage and follow up on open tickets, ensuring proper response and resolution.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the IT Manager.
- Evaluate current and upcoming hardware and software standards.
- Participate in IT projects as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 1–3 years of IT support experience, with a background in customer service or IT support roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Mac, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
- Understanding of PC hardware components and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Windows networking, LAN/WAN, DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with remote connectivity issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The following skills are highly desirable:
- Experience supporting Macs.
- Knowledge of routers and firewalls.
- Skills in troubleshooting, Linux, and web hosting.
