At RCX Recruitment Inc., we seek a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Technical Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in IT infrastructure administration, with a strong background in hardware and software configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. They should be well-versed in network configuration, monitoring, and optimization, as well as have experience with virtual machines and virtualized infrastructure.

This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and compliance standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, identifying performance bottlenecks, analyzing system metrics, and optimizing system performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, administer, and maintain enterprise production servers, file servers, email systems, and application servers.
  • Ensure that computer operations are performing properly for employees, either directly or through subordinates.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software applications; monitor performance and resolve any problems with computers.
  • Recommend improvements and program changes as needed; install new versions/releases of operating systems.
  • Assist in installing new hardware upgrades/products and keep management apprised of system status.
  • Coordinate integration of new systems and applications into existing systems and networks.
  • Provide direct support and training to users.
  • Develop maintenance schedules and records for computer equipment and applications.
  • Manage backup and restoration of critical system data.
  • Authorize system access to users and maintain necessary documentation of authorities assigned.

The successful candidate will be an expert in storage networking, load balancing, operating system, network security, directory services, server virtualization, system backup and restore, and system and network monitoring via SNMP.
