Insurance Policy Administrator

The Insurance Policy Administrator plays a crucial role in managing the entire insurance policy lifecycle, from application to renewal and cancellation. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policy Processing: Process new insurance policy applications, ensuring all required information and documentation are complete and accurate.
  • Policy Endorsements, Renewals, Cancellations: Handle endorsements, renewals, and cancellations promptly, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance: Review policy applications for compliance with industry regulations.
Documentation Management:
  • Maintain accurate and organized client files and policy records.
  • Ensure all policy documentation is properly scanned, filed, and stored.
  • Generate and distribute policy documents to clients and relevant parties.
Customer Support:
  • Assist clients with inquiries related to policy status, coverage details, and billing.
  • Provide support to the customer service team by supplying necessary policy information.
  • Communicate with clients, agents, underwriters, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in commercial property and casualty insurance processing is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with insurance software such as Applied EPIC, AMS 360, EZ Lynx, and CRM systems.
Essential Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
