Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronic systems, medical devices, air conditioning units, and hospital bed mechanisms. With a focus on hospital medical devices, air conditioning units, and hospital beds, you will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and troubleshoot biomedical equipment, air conditioning units, hospital beds, and other electronic devices.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Diagnose and solve electronic and mechanical issues within the hospital environment.
  • Collaborate with technical staff to provide timely repairs and maintenance services.
  • Maintain accurate service records and logbook entries for each repair or maintenance task.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and protocols.
  • Work on-call, overtime, and during emergencies as required.
  • Conduct fieldwork and travel to other locations as needed for equipment servicing and installation.
  • Be open to relocation assignments based on operational requirements.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have a graduate degree from a 2-year technical/vocational course, specializing in Biomedical Equipment, Aircon Technology, Hospital Beds, or related fields.

A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or similar environment is preferred but not required.

You should possess strong troubleshooting, technical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Certification in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Air Conditioning Systems is an advantage.

Familiarity with hospital safety protocols and technical standards is also beneficial.
