Operations Scheduling Manager – Healthcare Job Summary
Seeking a seasoned and dependable Scheduling Manager with proven leadership experience and strong organizational skills to oversee scheduling operations and lead a team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in scheduling or workforce management, along with proven leadership or managerial experience in a similar role. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and support the scheduling staff to ensure they follow scheduling protocols and meet organizational needs.
- Schedule Development: Oversee the development of work schedules to allocate the appropriate staff and resources efficiently for operational requirements.
- Coordination: Work closely with department heads, HR, and other stakeholders to align schedules with staffing needs, business priorities, and employee availability.
- Scheduling System Management: Manage the scheduling software or tools to maintain accurate, up-to-date schedules and resolve any discrepancies that arise.
- Ad-hoc Request Handling: Respond to unexpected scheduling changes such as staff absences, increased workload, or other urgent requests and make appropriate adjustments in real-time.
- Compliance: Ensure that all scheduling practices are compliant with company policies.
- Metrics Analysis: Track scheduling metrics, such as overtime, shift coverage, and staffing levels. Analyze data to identify trends, optimize resource allocation, and report findings to senior management.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any conflicts or issues related to scheduling, such as employee disputes, shift swaps, or excessive overtime.
- Forecasting: Assist in forecasting staffing needs based on projected workloads, peak times, or special events and work with HR to adjust schedules accordingly.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to scheduling processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- At least 5 years of experience in scheduling or workforce management.
- Proven leadership or managerial experience in a similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and proactive mindset.
- Dependable, honest, and solution-oriented.
- Willing to work full-time onsite in Clark, Pampanga.
