About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately performing takeoffs and cost estimates for projects involving electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough and accurate takeoffs and cost estimates using industry-standard software such as Planswift or Bluebeam
  • Review and interpret architectural and electrical drawings, including reflected ceiling plans, to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Identify and quantify lighting fixtures and controls from project documents
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports using Microsoft Excel, highlighting key findings and recommendations
  • Collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates, ensuring seamless project execution
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Planswift or Bluebeam is essential; experience with other estimating software is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to create complex spreadsheets
  • Background in architectural and electrical projects, with a focus on electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Prior costing/estimating experience is highly valued, but not required
