Financial Operations Specialist

We are looking for a proactive and analytical professional to support cross-functional teams by organizing workflows, managing datasets, and driving process improvements.

This role will play a key part in managing financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with departments including sales, HR, and IT.

  • Assist in organizing and managing workflows and datasets across multiple departments (finance, sales, IT, HR), ensuring information and documentation are properly structured
  • Design and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency
  • Manage and maintain financial systems, datasets, and reporting frameworks to support decision-making
  • Work closely with team members to make sure procedures are followed and required data is collected on time
  • Classify and maintain documentation to ensure accuracy, order, and accessibility
  • Support data analysis, reporting, and financial/operational modeling tasks
  • Take ownership of routine administrative and follow-up tasks, freeing up senior team members for strategic work
  • Contribute to ongoing projects and process improvements; expect responsibilities to evolve regularly in a fast-growing company

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and providing actionable insights to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including monthly close processes, variance analyses, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flows.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize financial processes, implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting or another analytical field
  • At least 4-5 years of related work experience as a financial controller
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, and modeling)
  • Ability to build and work with financial/data models
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Eager to learn and adaptable to changing workflows and tools
  • A 'can-do' mindset, with high energy and willingness to go the extra mile
