Quality Control Specialist

We deliver end-to-end solutions for whole home electrification that make clean energy accessible to all.

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for reviewing and verifying milestone packages (project documents, photos, and design details).

They will review solar monitoring platforms to confirm accurate creation, and verify sold systems meet installed design estimates.

The specialist will also support the LightReach division in gathering data to drive partner accountability and establish a culture of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review installation photos and job close-out documentation
  • Verify design material and confirmed sold production meets physical installation
  • Review solar monitoring sites, layout, and registered product
  • Provide clear and concise feedback for rejected packages
  • Resolve closeout package kickbacks for fast resubmittal turnaround times
  • Stay current on install materials, methods, product trainings, and new product integration
  • Support installation best practices, customer site profile creations, and customer satisfaction
  • Handle incoming chat or ticket systems for expedient kickback resolution
  • Identify trends or patterns with partners and drive remediation recommendations
  • Contribute to partner calls with operations teams to drive education and best practices for M1 & M2 pass rates
  • Perform and document site inspections as prescribed under specific programs, accessing roofs and electrical equipment

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a technical or construction-based solar role
  • Experience with interdepartmental problem-solving or project management
  • Photovoltaic design experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work with third parties
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience with standard business tools such as G-Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Ability to climb ladders, access rooftops, and work in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to stand, kneel, or bend for extended periods during inspections
  • Adherence to field safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
