Accounting Manager Role

This opportunity is open for ambitious professionals who are willing to relocate to Ortigas, Pasig City, with relocation assistance provided.

The Assistant Accounting Manager plays a key role in supporting the Accounting Manager in overseeing financial operations across commissary, stores, and franchise businesses. This position ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, effective cost monitoring, and strong cross-functional coordination with Procurement, Operations, and other departments.

  • Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Analyze food costs, production expenses, and profitability per commissary/store/franchise.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable & Receivable, including supplier billing and franchisee collections.
  • Monitor inventory, cost controls, spoilage, and yield variances.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies such as BIR and FDA.
  • Support audits through accurate documentation.
  • Train and supervise junior accounting staff.
  • Implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with other departments for reconciliations and budget preparation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong background in SAP/ERP systems and financial reporting.
  • Experience in the Food & Beverage industry or commissary/retail/franchise operations is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
