Our organization is seeking skilled medical interpreters to provide consecutive interpretation during remote appointments. We aim to deliver exceptional service and uphold high standards of quality.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret consecutively during medical consultations to ensure effective communication between clients and healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrate professional courtesy and maintain a positive demeanor at all times.
  • Support note taking and employ memory techniques as necessary to guarantee accuracy and precision in interpretation.

We value strong verbal communication skills, fluency in English and Plautdietsch, and knowledge of the interpreter Code of Ethics.

In addition, we require:

Qualifications
  • A minimum of two years' experience in medical interpreting.
  • Familiarity with consecutive interpretation techniques and procedures.
  • Strong ability to interpret complex medical terminology accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
