Medical Transcription Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Transcription Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to be part of a dynamic organization that provides transcription services to healthcare providers. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Transcribe medical dictations from healthcare providers to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Review and edit transcribed documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to gather information and clarify any discrepancies or inaccuracies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A degree in Medical Transcription, Health Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Transcriptionist, Virtual Assistant, or Medical Documentation specialist.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal (At least B2 level).
  • Solid understanding of medical terminologies and practices.
  • Proficient in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and able to troubleshoot common technical issues.
  • Able to work varied shifts, including graveyard shifts.
