We are currently looking for a skilled and results-driven Petroleum Sales Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing account strategies, expanding current accounts, and penetrating new markets.
Estimated Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
Job Description:
- Evaluate market conditions to develop effective sales strategies and actions plans to expand current accounts and penetrate new markets.
- Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly objectives to drive business growth.
- Negotiate business deals with customers to secure fuel sales contracts.
- Develop customer profiles, provide excellent service, and implement retention strategies to build long-term relationships.
- Create and manage fuel quotations, review quote activity, and initiate follow-ups to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the President and CEO, including managing client portfolios from specific regions and communicating spot prices to customers.
- High-volume inbound and outbound calls to respond to customer inquiries and provide sales support for external sales teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Petroleum Sales Personnel (B2B and/or Fuel Retailers).
- Strong data analytical skills to drive sales decisions.
- Valid driver's license to travel to customer sites if required.
- Excellent interpersonal, networking, and communication skills to work effectively with customers.
- Project management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
