Role Overview
We're seeking an organized and results-driven professional to join our team as a Speech Therapy Intake Coordinator. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, guiding them through the intake process, answering basic questions, estimating insurance coverage, and scheduling appointments with the right therapist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound leads via phone and text who are seeking speech therapy services
- Build trust and connection quickly, representing our partner practices with professionalism and empathy
- Use proprietary tools to estimate out-of-pocket insurance costs
- Match patients with appropriate therapists based on location, specialty, and insurance compatibility
- Schedule evaluations and follow-ups using EHR and calendar tools
- Maintain organized records of all communications and outcomes across multiple practices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional phone presence
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized across multiple systems
- Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating CRMs, scheduling tools, and communication platforms
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
