Accounting Professional Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the financial close process for corporate and international entities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet/income statement analysis.
  2. Lead the General Ledger (GL) team and work closely with senior management on cash burn reporting.
  3. Coordinate with the Accounts Payable (AP) team regarding accounting transactions.
  4. Collaborate with the Logistics team on inventory accounts, shipments, and internal processes.
  5. Oversee WFOE China operations, including invoicing, billing, intercompany accounts, and meeting requirements.
  6. Calculate and report revenue based on Cost Plus agreements for international entities.
  7. Manage fixed assets, prepaid accounts, payroll, benefits, accrued income taxes, and all other accrued liabilities.
  8. Prepare, record, and reconcile long-term debt accounts, such as notes payable, deferred financing fees, and accrued interest.
  9. Perform intercompany elimination, allocations, and consolidations.
  10. Manage and report on consolidated cash accounts.
  11. Draft policies and procedures and document accounting principles and procedural recommendations.
  12. Implement process improvements and strengthen the control environment.
  13. Manage third-party firms on international and tax compliance.
  14. Play a key role in annual financial audits.
Requirements:
  • Strong US GAAP knowledge.
  • Intermediate MS Excel and analytical skills.
  • Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of managerial experience.
  • Understanding of internal control concepts.
  • Significant experience with payroll, cash, and capitalized software.
