Accounting Professional

The Staff Accountant plays a crucial role in overseeing general accounting operations and managing financial transactions. Key responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, preparing month-end close procedures, and ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all company's accounting tasks.

Key objectives include:

  • Review and manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Analyze financial data and create reports on financial status based on the analysis results.
  • Develop recommendations to optimize accounting systems and procedures and detect inaccuracies.
  • Support and consult company's personnel on accounting control procedures.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of experience working as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, Chief, or Senior Accountant.
  • Profound experience with typical accounting procedures.
  • Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Good practical experience with accounting software packages.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant certifications such as CMA or CPA will be a bonus.
