Job Summary

The Plumbing/Sprinkler Take-off Specialist plays a crucial role in project estimation by accurately interpreting drawings, performing takeoffs, and preparing cost proposals. This specialist is responsible for conducting thorough research and analyzing data to ensure accurate calculations and efficient project execution.

This position requires strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and effective communication to ensure precise calculations and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking off materials from plumbing and sprinkler drawings to determine material quantities and labor costs
  • Reviewing all project documents and drawings to assess factors impacting the scope of work
  • Obtaining vendor pricing for materials and supplies to ensure cost accuracy
  • Inputting takeoff data and preparing detailed proposals using provided templates
  • Ensuring timely submission of projects while maintaining attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Experience in Plumbing & Sprinkler Takeoffs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel for documentation and proposal preparation
  • Hands-on experience with Revu Bluebeam for digital takeoffs and markup processes
