Senior Scrum Master Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Scrum Master to join our organization. As a Senior Scrum Master, you will play a key role in supporting our Engineering Scrum Teams and helping us build high-impact software and features that deliver value to our customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating effective communication among team members and stakeholders
  • Keeping all parties on track and informed of project progress, including regular updates and sprint planning
  • Providing timely feedback to stakeholders and team members to ensure clarity and alignment
  • Championing agile values, principles, and practices within the organization, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Onboarding, training, and mentoring scrum team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Facilitating scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-up meetings, sprint meetings, retrospectives, and other key events
  • Helping Product Owners refine, arrange, and optimize product backlogs to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs
  • Removing roadblocks that can hinder the progress of teams and finding creative solutions to complex problems
  • Coordinating with release planning and deployment activities to ensure smooth execution and delivery

Requirements for this role include:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role, with a proven track record of success and improvement
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, with the ability to adapt and apply these principles effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely
  • Agile Scrum Master Certification (strongly preferred)
