Senior Solution Engineer

As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers. Your technical expertise, combined with your ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner, will enable you to make a significant impact on our clients' businesses.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern data stacks, ETL/ELT, data warehouses/lakes, data science, and data applications. You should also possess excellent presentation skills, both impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos. In addition, hands-on experience with SQL (Python knowledge would be beneficial) is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement customized solutions that align with customer goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our product offerings and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless solution delivery.
  • Present technical concepts and solutions to both technical and executive audiences.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales engineering role.
  • Strong proficiency in modern data stacks, ETL/ELT, data warehouse/lake, data science, and data applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL (Python knowledge a plus).
Desired Skills:
  • Data Science knowledge and experience.
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Software development experience with Java, Spark, and other scripting languages.
  • Extensive knowledge of large-scale database technology and cloud data platforms.
  • Experience selling data and analytics software to enterprise customers.
