Engineering Leadership Opportunity

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading teams focused on Big Data and MySQL databases, building scalable data solutions for Kubernetes and cloud machines.

This role requires a software engineering background, preferably with Python and Golang experience, as well as experience running in production and at scale, preferably Big Data or MySQL.

A proven ability to drive good engineering practices around performance and quality is essential.

  • Lead a team building scalable data solutions for Kubernetes and cloud machines.
  • Hire, coach, mentor, provide feedback, and lead by example.
  • Demonstrate sound engineering skill by directly contributing code when needed.
  • Effectively set and manage expectations with other engineering teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
  • Advocate modern, agile software development practices.
  • Develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices.
  • Evaluate trade-offs between competing priorities, requirements, and resources.

The successful candidate will be passionate about software development, knowledgeable about modern technologies, and eager to push the boundaries of what is possible.
