Data Engineering Job Description

As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and optimizing large-scale data warehouses for our clients in various markets. You will be part of a team that supports and maintains a strategic data platform for one of our Fortune 500 clients.

The platform is built on Snowflake technology in the Azure cloud, with Power BI serving as the primary layer for reporting and data consumption. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and managing pipelines to ingest Salesforce data using Copy Storm and process it within Azure and Snowflake.
  • Ensuring seamless data integration between Salesforce and reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Developing automation and monitoring processes for ingestion pipelines.
  • Working closely with analysts and architects to support evolving data needs and platform architecture.
  • Implementing best practices in data privacy, auditability, and error handling.

You will work closely with our team to minimize errors, optimize platform performance, and promptly resolve any issues that may arise during the transformation process. The rebuild involves reorganizing the platform's layers and implementing a new framework for data consolidation.
