Job Description

This role is an opportunity to join our financial operations team as a skilled Bookkeeper Admin Assistant. The position involves providing administrative support, managing finances, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day financial transactions using Xero accounting software.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain supplier accounts and ensure proper transaction recording.
  • Enter bills into Xero and perform general bookkeeping tasks.
  • Prepare monthly construction claims invoices per job.
  • Manage payroll, Single Touch Payroll, and superannuation payments.
  • Perform BAS reporting and reconcile accounts receivable and payable.
  • Reconcile credit cards and supplier accounts.
  • Handle general administration duties, including correspondence.
  • Reconcile contractor payments and manage online storage documents.
  • Upload OHS documents and update cost build-up for projects.
  • Send weekly construction updates and manage online banking payments.
  • Update insurances and VicRoads spreadsheet, as well as cash flow with monthly invoicing.
  • Respond to inquiries from consultants, accounts, and director.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of financial and office activities.
