Key responsibilities of this Financial Accounting role include general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and other tasks as requested.

The ideal candidate will be a key member of the finance team, mentored and supported by experienced professionals to develop within a rapidly growing business.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle the timely and accurate posting of accounting journal entries concerning the month-end
  • Assist with the external audit process together with senior finance staff
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks and project work as required
  • Demonstrate excellent collaboration and communication skills to support the development of a high-performance culture

Qualifications:

  • Degree-level qualification in Accounting or Commerce
  • Certified Accountant or Certified Public Accountant preferred
  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience in an accounting role, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Mature analytical skills with a keen desire to learn and understand underlying concepts
  • Ability to interpret financial information and explain in non-financial terms

This is a full-time position that involves remote work. The ideal candidate should have excellent time management skills and be able to meet deadlines effectively.
