Cloud Data Engineer Role

About the Job

This position involves working with a team to design and build mission-critical cloud services. The role requires expertise in data platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.

You will help scale cloud-native data platforms from the ground up and work closely with top experts in the field. Your primary responsibilities include collaborating with the team to design technical architectures for cloud data platforms and implementing integrations for various data platform components.

A strong understanding of data pipelines, data engineering concepts, and scripting skills are essential for this role. Experience with CI/CD systems and GitOps is also highly valued.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design technical architectures for cloud data platforms.
  • Implement and integrate data platform components.
  • Build and operate CI/CD systems and infrastructure as code.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have 3-5 years of experience in dataops, devops, or a related field. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash is required.

You should have hands-on experience with at least some data platform services such as Kafka, Airflow, or Spark. Additionally, experience with monitoring tools, logging systems, and troubleshooting is beneficial.
