Job Role:

Our organization is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Insurance Verification Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and eligibility of patient insurance coverage for proposed healthcare services.

Key responsibilities include verifying patient insurance coverage, preparing and submitting comprehensive authorization requests to insurance companies, collaborating with healthcare providers to gather relevant clinical information, and monitoring the status of authorization requests. You will also be required to communicate effectively with patients to explain the prior authorization process, potential delays, and any financial responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in insurance verification and pre-authorization is required.
  • Ability to work from 8am to 5pm EST is mandatory.
  • Must be able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with healthcare providers and patients.
