Job Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous professional to fill the role of Insurance Verification Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Neurology and Allergy practices, with a proven track record of verifying patient insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility for smooth billing and claims processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Verify patient insurance eligibility, coverage, and benefits for Neurology and Allergy services.
  2. Accurately enter and update insurance information in NextGen EMR software.
  3. Communicate with insurance companies to confirm benefits and resolve discrepancies.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare providers, billing staff, and front-office personnel to ensure claims accuracy.
  5. Assist in resolving prior authorization and referral requirements.
  6. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and payer-specific guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. At least 3 years of relevant experience in insurance verification.
  2. Background in Neurology and Allergy specialties preferred.
  3. Proficiency in NextGen software required.
  4. Strong understanding of healthcare insurance plans, coverage, and policies.
  5. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
  6. Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
