The Technical Support Engineer plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by resolving complex technical issues. As the bridge between our customers and engineering teams, you will have a direct impact on customer success and retention.

  • Investigate production system errors, develop code solutions, and deploy fixes
Main Responsibilities:

This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and soft skills to excel. Below are some key areas of focus:

  • Technical Problem Solving
    • Analyze system logs in observability platforms like Honeycomb
    • Debug API failures and LLM hallucinations using production tools
    • Develop JavaScript code snippets for customer integrations
    • Perform root cause analysis on system-level issues
  • AI & LLM Expertise
    • Troubleshoot prompt engineering configurations for optimal results
    • Diagnose LLM response issues and implement corrective measures
    • Collaborate with AI model developers to optimize performance
    • Debug autonomous agent workflows and decision-making processes
  • Integration & Development
    • Fix customer integration issues through code modifications and testing
    • Deploy and maintain JavaScript implementations for Live Chat and Shopping Agent features
    • Work with REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations
    • Create detailed technical documentation and implementation guides
  • Customer Engineering
    • Conduct technical deep-dives with customer engineering teams to identify solutions
    • Lead complex technical implementations and migrations
    • Provide architectural guidance for customer integrations and escalations
    • Collaborate with Product Engineering as needed
  • Process & Documentation
    • Own technical investigations from initial report to final resolution
    • Develop detailed technical documentation and runbooks
    • Build debugging workflows and troubleshooting guides
    • Contribute to internal tools and automation initiatives
