Job Title: AI Data Quality Analyst

Overview:

The AI Data Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of data in AI and machine learning projects. This involves performing quality audits, statistical reporting, root cause analysis, and edge-case management to guarantee that data meets established guidelines and quality benchmarks.

This role requires a strong understanding of data quality principles, experience with data annotation tools, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Audits: Conduct thorough reviews of annotated datasets to identify areas for improvement and ensure data quality standards are met.
  • Statistical Reporting: Develop and maintain metrics such as F1 score and inter-annotator agreement to evaluate data quality and inform data-driven decisions.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Analyze annotation errors, trends, and project documentation to identify root causes and propose remediation strategies.
  • Edge-Case Management: Resolve and analyze edge-case annotations to ensure quality and identify improvement areas.
  • Tooling: Utilize annotation and quality control tools to perform reviews and track quality metrics.
  • Guidelines: Become an expert in project guidelines and provide feedback for clarifications or improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify automation opportunities and contribute to documentation of quality standards and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience as a data analyst with exposure to data quality and/or data annotation, ideally in an AI/ML context.
  • Familiarity with basic concepts of AI/ML pipelines and data.
