Job Overview

This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations in a fast-paced home care environment.

The Scheduler Role

Creating and managing schedules for caregivers across multiple locations, acting as a liaison between caregivers and clients, and providing support to ensure consistent and compassionate care for seniors in their homes is key responsibility of this individual. Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining up-to-date caregiver schedules
  • Responding promptly to schedule changes or issues
  • Communicating effectively with clients and caregivers via phone or email
  • Maintaining accurate records and case notes in software (training provided)
  • Collaborating with the operations team to identify and resolve staffing concerns
  • Conducting regular check-ins and evaluations with caregivers
  • Generating weekly reports and keeping leadership informed
Requirements

To thrive in this role, ideal candidate should possess:

  • Experience in scheduling, preferably in healthcare or home care
  • Calm under pressure and excellent organizational skills
  • Able to problem-solve effectively in fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with software systems and remote communication tools
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to work as trusted partner
  • Proactive approach and strong teamwork ethic
  • Ability to secure required technical setup, including:
  • Reliable computer with at least Intel Core i5 processor and 8 GB RAM
  • Backup laptop and internet device
  • Primary internet connection of at least 25 Mbps
