Job Description

The Revenue Auditor is responsible for participating in daily audits of gaming and non-gaming activity, preparing management and regulatory reports, and recording journal entries. The Revenue Auditor also provides support to operations by performing daily tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the collection of audit documents and reports, and perform compliance checking as assigned in accordance with standard operating procedures for areas such as table games, slots, cage, promotions, hotel, food & beverage, entertainment, and other areas as required.
  • Witness the counting of cash and TITO tickets in the count room.
  • Prepare exception reports for violations of gaming, cage, casino marketing, hotel, food & beverage, and entertainment areas.
  • Create button designs for discounts and settlements in Micros POS.
  • Set up menus in the POS system and ensure accurate pricing.
  • Issue Micros POS cards or update access levels as requested.
  • Assist in cashier training on POS systems, cash handling, balancing, banking, and daily reporting procedures.
  • Have a working knowledge of all standard operating procedures and government regulations.
  • Record journal entries to record revenues and expenses, and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare daily reports for submission to government regulators, external parties, internal parties, and senior management teams.
Qualifications:Experience:
  • At least one year of experience in auditing or accounting.
  • Work experience in a casino or hospitality industry is preferred.
Education:
  • A graduate degree in business or accounting.
Skills/Competencies:
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office products, particularly Excel.
