Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for managing our day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including processing vendor invoices, generating customer invoices, and overseeing collections.
  • Perform regular bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of key financial reports, such as the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statement.
  • Process payroll, ensuring all data is accurate and compliant with relevant regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2-4+ years of hands-on experience in an accounting or full-charge bookkeeping role.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and a high level of skill in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Accounting Knowledge: A solid understanding of core accounting principles (e.g., GAAP).
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Independence: The ability to work independently, manage your own time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
