Job Opportunity: AI Governance/Security Specialist

We are seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our team as an AI Governance/Security Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping the future of artificial intelligence (AI) at our organization.

Job Description

The AI Governance/Security Specialist will be responsible for identifying, assessing, mitigating, documenting, and advising on potential risks associated with AI technologies. This includes ethical and legal implications, ensuring that our AI solutions are developed and deployed in a responsible and transparent manner.

You will collaborate with technology teams to promote best practices, research teams to explore cutting-edge Responsible AI technologies, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders on the latest AI advancements, opportunities, and threats.

In addition, you will support the organization in addressing AI-related legal and regulatory issues, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance on AI governance and security matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement guidelines and training programs on Responsible AI principles and practices.
  2. Co-develop tooling that supports Responsible AI testing, validation, and monitoring.
  3. Manage AI incidents and facilitate resolution, reporting, and documentation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of machine learning principles and emerging technologies; knowledge of generative AI platforms is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in AI development or Security/Compliance, preferably with exposure to AI-related governance.
  • Demonstrated passion for the ethical and legal implications of AI technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Law, or related field.
