Accounting and Revenue Cycle Representative


Job Description
As a highly skilled Accounting and Revenue Cycle Representative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient management of insurance follow-ups and denials. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a liaison between insurance companies, patients, and departments to facilitate seamless claims processing and resolution. You will also be responsible for researching and resolving payment discrepancies, reviewing and managing aging reports, and working aged accounts on assigned payers. Additionally, you will identify issues or trends with accounts, provide suggestions for resolutions, and escalate exhausted appeals efforts for resolution with payers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. You should also have excellent computer proficiency, specifically in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Furthermore, you must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing exemplary customer service. A high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate degree preferred. Preferred years of experience range from Level I (1-3 years) to Level II (3-5 years).
