Job Description

As a highly skilled financial professional, you will play a key role in providing expert accounting services to clients across various industries. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with queries related to accounting programs such as XERO, MYOB, Reckon, Banklink, Cashflow Manager, and Phoenix.

Your expertise will also be utilized to prepare financial statements, income tax returns, and Business Activity Statements for entities including sole traders, partnerships, trusts, and companies.

Key tasks include:

  • Extracting reports and data from client accounting systems
  • Providing training to clients on the effective use of these systems and addressing their queries
  • Preparing comprehensive financial statements and tax returns across all entity types
  • Maintaining and completing client history, trust details, and other relevant documents
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Commerce with a major in Accounting or a similar relevant qualification
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar position
  • An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • The ability to quickly adapt to new software and technologies
  • Demonstration of energy and drive
  • A positive attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail
