Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Expert to join our remote team. As a key player in the company's financial health, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, supporting compliance, and providing insights that help leadership make better decisions.

Your duties will include preparing and recording journal entries, reconciling bank accounts, assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures, and helping prepare financial statements and supporting documentation.

You will also support internal and external audits, perform variance analysis, and maintain well-organized and accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and record journal entries and general ledger transactions
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Help prepare financial statements and supporting documentation
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Perform variance analysis and explain key fluctuations
Requirements
  • 1 to 3 years of accounting experience (internships welcome)
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and accurate with numbers
  • Understanding of GAAP and accounting workflows
  • Proficient in Excel (XLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas)
  • Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar software
  • Professional English communication (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage time, tasks, and deadlines in a remote setup
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to improve systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, SharePoint, and related tools
