Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our team. As a Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks 2024.

You will ensure that company drawings are prepared, checked and filed as per company procedures and instructions.

You will prepare project drawings for fabrication including DXF profiles following company procedures and drafting standards.

You will also prepare product installation and operation manuals.

In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring drawings are filed correctly, including check prints, superseded and masters.

You will effectively action feedback from the manager via model and drawing updates, respecting appropriate part numbers and dealing with modifications and revisions changes.

You will manage and complete projects in a timely manner.

You will analyze engineering specifications, sketches, and models to create accurate mechanical designs.

You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure drawings align with project goals.

You will ensure all mechanical designs comply with relevant industry standards and company policies.

You will maintain and organize design files and project documentation for future reference as per company procedures.

You will assist in preparing project specifications, material lists, and other technical documentation.

You will participate in design review meetings and provide feedback on potential improvements.
