Legal & Compliance Specialist Role

We seek a seasoned Legal & Compliance Specialist to drive our organization's compliance initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to the legal and compliance space.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong professional judgment, possessing at least 5 years of experience as a lawyer, paralegal, compliance officer, or legal administrator, preferably in startups, BPOs, legal services, or international firms.

The Legal & Compliance Specialist will ensure our organization complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. They will draft, review, and maintain corporate governance documents including resolutions, by-laws, board minutes, and filings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Ensuring contract terms are protective of the company's interests while also being commercially practical
  • Managing contract lifecycles—renewals, amendments, and compliance tracking
  • Working closely with external counsel to protect company interests
  • Providing calm, strategic advice on resolving disputes efficiently
