Sales Compensation Analyst Opportunity

Embark on a rewarding role as a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst, where you will have the opportunity to craft and implement sales compensation programs that drive business growth and motivate high-performing sales teams.

This strategic position requires strong analytical skills, process acumen, and stakeholder engagement expertise. You will work at the intersection of data, process, and collaboration to ensure timely and transparent commission payments, administer and analyze sales compensation programs, and serve as a subject matter expert for all things sales compensation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust sales compensation programs that support our ambitious growth goals and reward excellence in our sales teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Sales Leadership, and HR, to ensure accurate and timely commission payments.
  • Administer and analyze sales compensation and commission programs to ensure alignment with business strategy, compliance, and motivational effectiveness.
  • Provide exceptional service as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to incentive plans and commission calculations.
  • Support the development, communication, and rollout of new sales incentive plans and commission structures, including documentation, testing, training, and self-serve calculators for stakeholders.
  • Model, simulate, and forecast plan changes to assess impact, prepare reports for Executive Leadership, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in sales compensation, commissions processing, incentive plan administration, and/or sales/revenue operations in a SaaS/tech environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and strong analytical, data modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience administering and configuring sales compensation management software preferred.
  • Strong understanding of sales compensation best practices, quota assignment, and SaaS revenue models.
  • Exposure to global compensation practices and a deep focus on accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new systems and tools (Salesforce, Looker, CPQ).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and an ownership mindset; able to proactively identify and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to distill complex compensation concepts for non-technical audiences.
