Job Opportunity: Property Valuation Expert

We are seeking a skilled Property Valuation Assistant to collaborate with our clients. This role involves financial analysis, market research, and preparing reports to support investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Research real estate databases for comparable data, analyze the data, and provide in-depth explanations of findings.
  2. Analyze real estate investments, including acquisitions and developments, to identify potential opportunities and risks.
  3. Create comprehensive financial models to assess property performance and returns.
  4. Research market trends, property data, and comparable sales/rentals to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  5. Prepare professional reports and presentations for leadership and clients.
  6. Assist with due diligence, including reviewing leases and financial documents, to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

  1. Previous work experience as a Real Estate Analyst or similar role is highly valued.
  2. A degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, or Real Estate is required.
  3. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as financial modeling experience, are preferred.
  4. Analytical experience that enables independent thinking is essential.
  5. Familiarity with FileMaker Pro and internet searching skills are beneficial.
  6. Knowledge of real estate terms and metrics, such as cap rates, NOI, and IRR, is necessary.
  7. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills are critical.
  8. Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this role.
