Job Description

The role of Financial Analyst involves supporting product teams through financial analysis, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.

This includes delivering actionable intelligence through data-driven analysis and variances, trends, and business drivers. The analyst will work closely with Product Managers to develop comprehensive business cases for new initiatives.

Responsibilities include budgeting and forecasting cycles for product-related functions, as well as performing ad-hoc financial analyses to support operational and strategic decisions.

  • Support the Senior Finance Business Partner in delivering financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the Product Marketing and Product Development teams.
  • Deliver actionable insights through analysis of key business drivers, variances, and trends.
  • Assist in developing comprehensive business cases for new product initiatives in collaboration with Product Managers.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting cycles for product-related functions.
  • Compile and assess monthly financial commentary for accuracy and clarity.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic and operational decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential skills and qualifications include:

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with an interest in finance career development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret large data sets.
  • Driven, detail-oriented, and capable of producing accurate work under pressure.
  • Willingness to pursue professional qualifications such as CIMA or ACCA.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with professionalism and continuous improvement attitude, ideally with FP&A experience.
