Senior Accounting Associate

This accounting role involves performing routine tasks such as payroll, general ledger posting, accounts payable and receivable functions, and preparation of various financial statements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and other key financial reports. They will also review accounts for accurate postings, calculate retained earnings, and assist clients with basic software issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare detailed financial statements for multiple clients.
- Perform regular account reviews to ensure accurate postings.
- Assist clients with basic software and accounting issues.
- Prepare payroll tax returns and manage fixed assets.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant field.
- US accounting experience required.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and practices, with proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering accurate work under tight deadlines.
