About the Role

The Business Development Officer is responsible for evaluating and analyzing large infrastructure and energy project financing, cross-border loans, and bonds investments. He/She will perform credit evaluations, analyze potential market opportunities, and write comprehensive credit proposals in compliance with the Bank's standards.

  • Conduct client interviews and project meetings to gather necessary information.
  • Perform credit and financial analyses, risk projections, and recommend credit risk ratings based on the evaluation of loan applications.
  • Review assigned accounts and projects periodically to ensure they meet the Bank's requirements.
  • Assist in loan monitoring and compliance checking to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in client calls, meetings, and visits to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends and opportunities to align with the Bank's business objectives.
  • Assist in restructuring proposals and loan workouts to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Prepare and review internal credit reports and monitor expenses to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with internal audit, risk, compliance, and other administrative functions to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor credit portfolios and provide periodic reports to senior management to inform business decisions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in any Business, Economics, Accountancy, or Finance Course.
  • Preferably with at least 5 years work experience, with at least 2 years in credit evaluation and analysis and Corporate Banking products and services.
  • Strong analytical, marketing, and people management skills.
  • Background in Credit and Financial Risk Analyses.
