Web Development Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to design and build websites using the Squarespace platform.

This role involves leveraging Squarespace's capabilities to create professional and visually appealing websites, with a focus on modern design principles and best practices for typography, color theory, and layout.

  • Create new websites from scratch and redesign existing sites using the Squarespace platform
  • Work collaboratively with clients or project managers to understand and implement design and functional requirements
  • Apply expertise in website design and development to deliver high-quality, responsive, and optimized websites
  • Manage website projects from initial concept through to final launch, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure websites are fully functional and meet client expectations

You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and apply your technical skills to deliver tailored solutions.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of the Squarespace platform and its native design features, templates, and e-commerce functionality.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in web development and design, with a portfolio of previous work to demonstrate proficiency
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in website development
  • Deep expertise with the Squarespace platform, including its native design features, templates, and e-commerce functionality
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design choices and collaborate effectively with clients
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
