Job Opportunity: Senior Web Application Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Web Application Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of our web application.

This role is responsible for developing, stabilizing, and enhancing the backend and frontend of our web application, integrating AI/ML into applications, and ensuring reliability and trustworthiness.

  • Design, build, debug, and polish features across the existing React front end and Node.js back end.
  • Implement and refine role-based dashboards: inspector, client/homebuyer portal, contractor dashboard, and lead-generation dashboard.
  • Stabilize and resolve API hooks and third-party integrations; improve UI/UX responsiveness and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience building production web applications with React and Node.js, as well as strong experience with RESTful APIs/webhooks and third-party service integrations. They should also be familiar with DevOps and QA skills, including Git/GitHub, CI/CD, automated testing, and release management.

This is a remote position requiring a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace. The working hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm Mountain Time (40 hours/week).

The successful candidate will own feature delivery, QA, and iterations from launch through early post-launch improvements, and will collaborate on release planning and rollback strategies.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining high-quality code standards and best practices
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product vision
  3. Designing and implementing new features and enhancements

As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to mentor junior engineers, contribute to technical design decisions, and help shape the technical direction of the project.
