Job Summary:

The Paid Social Lead role is an exceptional opportunity to drive high-impact growth through strategic planning and execution of paid social campaigns. Reporting to the Paid Social Manager, you will lead a team of experts in scaling cost-effective customer acquisition and reactivation efforts across multiple search and biddable product categories.

This key position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams - Brand, Discounts, Creative, Analytics - to develop and execute a strategic roadmap that drives business growth through innovative marketing strategies. With a focus on leading-edge channels like Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat, you will leverage expertise to optimize campaign performance, enhance customer engagement, and fuel sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and execute paid social campaigns from launch to completion, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Analyze performance drivers using data analytics to optimize channel ROI and maximize campaign efficiency.
  • Oversee campaign trafficking, quality control, reporting, and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and implement optimization strategies to improve campaign performance against activation, retention, and reactivation goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align campaign objectives, targeting, and creative direction for enhanced performance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners to foster performance growth and revenue expansion.
  • Manage external partners and contractors to ensure maximum campaign performance and achieve set objectives.
  • Design, implement, and analyze A/B split tests to refine campaign effectiveness and stay ahead of market trends.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess a proven track record of efficient growth through a solid understanding of paid social and all performance marketing metrics (CPM, engagement rate, CPA, CPC & LTV). Strong analytical skills, combined with excellent communication and project management abilities, are essential for success in this position. Experience running large-scale multi-million-dollar campaigns across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Reddit, and Snapchat, is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience directly managing paid social campaigns on the client-side or at a performance marketing agency.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills to effectively use data to optimize day-to-day performance.
  • Excellent communications and presenting skills, with an eye for creative performance and ability to effectively communicate campaign results to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Facebook bidding, targeting, optimization, as well as web and app tracking setup and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with performance marketing metrics and platform reporting.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills to drive campaign optimization and improvement.
  • Proficient in Excel for performance analysis, with experience in pivot tables, formula building, and other advanced features.
  • Positive mindset towards challenges and new opportunities, with a contagious 'can-do' attitude and natural hustler mentality.
  • Strong organisational skills and project management ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results under pressure.
