We are seeking an experienced Database Script Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PostgreSQL and MariaDB, with expertise in writing complex SQL queries and analyzing performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement efficient database solutions for our modern SaaS platform
  • Write scalable scripts to support one-off customer data requests and ad hoc reporting needs
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to scope and fulfill data-related needs
  • Participate in production troubleshooting and scheduled after-hours support rotations when needed
Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MariaDB in AWS RDS environments
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and analyzing performance
  • Familiarity with Java-based ORMs and their impact on schema design
  • Experience supporting multi-tenant environments, ideally using schema-per-customer models
