Financial Operations Manager

The role of Financial Operations Manager involves managing financial records, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position entails a combination of routine accounts receivable functions, payroll processing, accounts payable support, general ledger maintenance, and active participation in special projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts in accordance with US GAAP.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant financial regulations.
- Perform month-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entry postings, and accurate reporting.
- Process monthly revenue tasks, including reconciliations, posting of entries, and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits and assist auditors as needed.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of annual tax returns.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
- Support accounts receivable tasks, including contract uploads, billing, invoicing, and cash application.
- Manage customer relationships and resolve billing issues.
- Process monthly payroll activities, including payroll runs and payroll entries.
- Assist with investor and bank reporting.
- Manage emails effectively within a ticketing system.
- Utilize project management tools in a timely and proactive manner.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform ad hoc tasks, financial analysis, and process improvement projects as needed.
