We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organization. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, while also identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial systems, including Xero, and will be proficient in reconciliations, budgeting, and financial analysis.
The Financial Operations Manager will work closely with our accounting team to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported. This will include:
- Reconciliations: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across all business accounts to synchronize Xero, payment platforms, and business records.
- Inter-Company Transactions: Handle inter-company transactions and reconciliations to balance books across entities.
- Reporting: Support end-of-month and year-end reporting with reconciled data, schedules, and supporting documentation.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Financial Operations Manager will also be responsible for managing supplier payments, expense reimbursements, and payment scheduling aligned with cash flow priorities. This will involve:
- Payment Processing: Approve and process customer and operational invoices in Xero, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Supplier Payments: Manage supplier payments, including processing invoices, making payments, and tracking cash flow.
- Cash Flow Management: Develop and implement strategies to manage cash flow effectively, ensuring that we maintain sufficient liquidity to meet our financial obligations.
The Financial Operations Manager will also play a key role in loan and contract administration, including:
- Loan Administration: Create and edit customer payment schedules based on variations, cancellations, upgrades, or early payouts.
- Contract Administration: Assess applications for B2B contracts, verifying financial viability and compliance with business criteria.
Other responsibilities of the Financial Operations Manager will include:
- Customer Finance Support: Monitor overdue accounts and support collections activities with operations and management teams.
- Financial Data Management: Maintain accurate financial and contact data for customers in Xero and integrated systems.
