The Asset Management Specialist plays a critical role in overseeing the control, tracking, and movement of assets. This position involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, coordinating logistics, and maintaining accurate asset records.

This includes:

  • Maintaining and updating asset databases to ensure accurate records
  • Supervising the receipt, inspection, tagging, labeling, and secure storage of equipment
  • Managing asset transfers, including documentation and coordination of related activities
  • Overseeing logistics for site deliveries, staff travel, and asset movements
  • Preparing and submitting reports for any lost, damaged, or stolen property

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procedures for effective asset handling, tracking, and control
  • Monitor contract requirements to ensure full compliance
  • Work closely with procurement, warehousing, and finance teams for end-to-end asset lifecycle coordination
  • Ensure all assets are correctly tagged, labeled, and stored
  • Continuously assess and improve processes to strengthen asset accountability and visibility

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in asset and logistics management
  • Solid understanding of regulatory standards and asset management systems
  • Hands-on experience with inventory control, shipping coordination, and asset transfers
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and asset/property management systems
  • Ability to support audit processes and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and working independently in fast-paced settings
