About the Position:

We are seeking an accomplished finance professional to lead accounting and financial operations across our organization.

This role is ideal for someone who can effectively manage day-to-day tasks while driving process improvements as we scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage month-end closing procedures, including preparation and filing of multi-state sales taxes (TX, GA, FL, LA).
  • Prepare and file timely financial statements and management reports.
  • Lead cash flow planning, forecasting, and reporting to leadership.
  • Supervise AR/AP staff, maintain reconciliations (bank, credit card, accruals, deposits), and oversee compliance filings (property tax renditions, US income tax coordination).
  • Support lender and bank communications and drive process improvement in NetSuite, especially around landed cost postings and reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • Solid Controller/Accounting Manager experience (5+ years).
  • Proficiency in NetSuite (hands-on, not just end-user).
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-state sales/use tax.
  • Experience supervising accounting staff and managing multiple entities.

Nice-to-Have:

  • QuickBooks familiarity and experience with import/landed cost accounting.
  • Advanced Excel for analysis and reporting and exposure to international compliance (Hong Kong or similar).
