Job Title: Fiscal Operations Head

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Fiscal Operations Head to spearhead our finance team. As a forward-thinking professional, you will provide strategic support to our CFO and senior management team.

Your key responsibility will be to ensure the financial integrity of the finance function and develop strong business planning, financial control, and reporting to maximize efficiencies and opportunities for growth.

Main Responsibilities
  • To lead and direct the finance team to deliver accurate and regular management information to the Board and departments and divisions.
  • To develop and lead the evolution of the Company's financial reporting processes and business systems.
  • To support the MD and the company in the budgetary planning and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure all financial accounting and administration functions, internal controls, and reconciliations are performed properly.
  • Produce and interpret management accounts.
  • Ensure the year-end audit is performed properly.
  • Generate and maintain the groups cash flow and budgeting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax and statutory matters.
  • Financial planning (forecasting and budgeting).
  • Reporting of budget variances and cost control.
  • Training & mentoring.
Requirements
  • An accounting qualification, ACA/ACCA or CIMA.
  • 5 to 7 years post-qualification experience in a financial management role (Financial Manager or FD).
  • Strong proficiency in financial software and databases.
  • Experience working with financial forecasting software a strong advantage.
